Oh come on--do you really think this is a campaign by the Fox affiliate in NYC to promote McCain? There were other faces in that montage...but the guy making the video didn't focus on them.

BTW, PC-do you know who the actor is giving the "eradication of the orgasm" speech in the beginning of that clip you posted?

The funny thing , during french elections in the 80's , the national french news had 2 frames of miterrand's picture on their Jingle news , it was a huge scandal at that time , that was more than 20 years ago .

/ if i am not mistaken , it was either antenne 2 or maybe France 3 .

I'm pretty certain that while Fox is right in step with most principles of IngSoc, the eradication of the orgasm (or overt sexuality representing sex itself,) is not on the agenda (as long as you can make a buck on it.)

I love FOX for this stuff, because even though I'm sure there's plenty of the same thing available through the real media in this day and age, I see a lot more of it on FOX, but with this difference:

At the same time they're trumpeting "morality" and taking "abstinence" as a serious form of birth control... they're making life extremely difficult for anybody who takes abstinence seriously.

"Hey! Moms with too many kids! Just keep your legs crossed! Hey! News anchorettes in stripper shoes! Think we can work in some Sharon Stone action?"

Anyway, I got nothing against anchorettes in stripper shoes... they should just not be on the "tsk tsk" network if ya ask me.
