It's harder for the Democrats to be hypocrites on family values because we have a broader view of what family is. I think because we are more accepting, we get fewer people who repress their sexual desires and end up doing things secretly, hiding behind lies, or, in some cases, even engaging in illegal sexual activity. It doesn't mean they're not hypocrites in other areas, but lately the Dems seem pretty good compared to the Republicans in terms of family values.

A Dem who had a problematic sexual predilection would go to a shrink, a Republican would go to his minister. Maybe that's the difference.
