Default High-Speed Rail Coming to America

High-speed rail is finally coming to America. However it's Argentina and not the United States that will be the first Amercian country to build a high-speed rail system and join the modern age of transportation.

Except for travel between NYC and Boston or DC, where would it really find use?

You don't use a high speed train as a commuter train after all.

So what part of my post where I said "except for Boston-NYC or NYC-DC what would you use it for" didn't you understand?
You really don't have much command of the English language, do you?

They can bring the fastest trains they want here ... we can't use them.

The only way we can use them is to replace ALL OUR TRACKS.

Unless that happens those trains aren't coming here. Most top speeds in the NE are @80 mph because there are too many bad spots.

That's the point. There's not enough traffic going Boston to Miami to make it feasible. So Boston-DC or Boston-NYC is about it. You don't have these high speed trains making a ton of stops on a run. That's why you have high speed trains and commuter trains.

And I'm not your son.

Well , with todays price of fuel and gas , soon it could be a very good alternative.
It 's the future .

Why are you so routinely nasty, while routinely calling for civility?
