Come on, the argument for as long as I can remember on the left was that we needed Iraqis to handle their own security, and we had to get past the divide between Sunni and Shia. Well look at this, we have the IRAQI government giving an ultimatum to Sadr and the IRAQIS fighting for themselves. We have a SHIA in government (Maliki) going after another SHIA IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE COUNTRY instead of blindly siding with him against Sunnis. These are clearly good signs. I love that the left makes a claim for what should happen in Iraq (decreased violence, or ending sectarian conflicts), then WHEN THAT EXACT THING ACTUALLY HAPPENS THEY CALL IT A "TRAGEDY!!!"
