Default Easter

Happy Easter to all who follow Christianity.

I hate Easter because it's just another Sunday without football and baseball. I finally got rid of the last snow pile which means I have to start the yardwork today.

Happy Easter,
I just Hard Boiled some egs, I let them cool, then I peeled them, then I locked my dog in the bedroom and pulled down the shades so he couldn't see what I was doing, I took the peeled eggs out in the yard and hid them, then I got my lawn chair out and yelled in to my wife to "let the dog out" I sat and watched him hunt for Easter Eggs.

My wife very seldom speaks to me.

My dog helped my daughter find her eggs too.

Typical Christian, wishing happy Easter only to those that follow Christianity. I guess the rest of us are blasphemers so don't deserve happiness, huh?

And for you pagans.....

O.E. Eastre (Northumbrian Eostre), from P.Gmc. *Austron, a goddess of fertility and sunrise whose feast was celebrated at the spring equinox, from *austra-, from PIE *aus- "to shine" (especially of the dawn). Bede says Anglo-Saxon Christians adopted her name and many of the celebratory practices for their Mass of Christ's resurrection. Ultimately related to east. Almost all neighboring languages use a variant of L. Pasche to name this holiday. Easter Island so called because it was discovered by Europeans on Easter Sunday, 1722.

So in reality, Easter is a pagan holiday.

Christians SHOULD call it Passover, or something like that.

Easter IS a pagan holiday.

There you go.

Roll your eggs of fertility.
