Default US sen. Chuck Hagel: US may need new political party

OMAHA, Neb. - U.S. Sen. Chuck Hagel writes in a new book that the United States needs independent leadership and possibly another political party, while suggesting the Iraq war might be remembered as one of the five biggest blunders in history.

we need more than a third party...we need a 4th and 5th...

I love this quote, but don't know who said it...

"There are two kinds of people in this world, those who think there are only two kinds of people, and everyone else."

If we had that many parties we'ed probably go to a Parlamentery form of gov. That many parties would dilute the vote I think. But what do i know. Maybe it would be feasable.
Anyways if we had a Parlament we wouldn't be were we are today. Bush would have had to form a coalition to hold on to power,I doubt that would happen. Then theres the dreaded NO Confidence vote. Where he (bush ) would have be kicked out by now.

Chuck Hagel is a anti-war right-wing republican I find it hard to believe any of the lefties here would even think of voting for him.

Opposes abortion
Supports the 2nd amendment
Supports free trade
