People hated Hoover for doing nothing as the depression deepened. People hated Carter because he seemed so incapable of doing anything to combat the stagnant growth and inflation of the 70's. Inflation is a concern that I'm sure will cause a few sleepless nights for Bernankee et al; but until it seems more prevalent I'm glad to see some effort being made to cushion things and get the nation back on the right track.

Nothing is more useless than a bunch of leaders not leading.

I think the leaders haven't been leading for the last couple decades. The credit card companies and mortgage companies should have been regulated along time ago.

Credit card companies able to charge 20-30% interest and the ARM that everyone has stated.

It is nothing more than a legalized mafia.

The people need to be protected because only about 20% if that are informed.
