If you dive into the weeds a little bit on this global warming thing, you see that it seems that facts are certainly on Huntsman’s side on all of this and fact checkers have come out, we’re actually having our own brain room look look at this right now that any of Perry’s comments don’t seem to hold a lot of water. It doesn’t matter. What’s resonating right now in South Carolina is helping Governor Perry tremendously and he fired back at Huntsman on global warming and gaining traction, facts or not.
and there you have it....
Facts are leaning towards a factual stance, but nobody seems to care. Its who can scream the loudest.
Juuuuuuusssst about sums up where we are as a society, and its not to long before we are swearing in President Camacho

Re: The dumbest nation on Earth: The United States of America
I remember when Clinton was president, some Chinese official said that if they had democracy, the people of China would probably vote for war with the United States. I'll once again give Churchill's classic quote: "Democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried."
Re: The dumbest nation on Earth: The United States of America
Well more data indicating that Huntsman Gore er al are indeed alarmist, and pols like Perry are correct.
CERN has published the results of the CLOUD experiment, the data confirms Sversmark's hypothesis that Cosmic Rays have a large influence on Cloud formation. More work on Cloud Chenistry needs to be done (ie the current Climate Modelers alarmist have no idea about louds and their effect on climate).
I will do a post on this in detail when I have time, this is a very significant result and possible the end of the notion that human activity has a major impact on climate.
When further research is done the results will probably point to CO2 and human activity being very minor on the order of .1C .

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

yeah, how bout including an actual link for frame of reference?
why is that concept so antithetical for some people?
Either way, the average American has become pretty dumb the past 20-30 years. Gluttonous consumerism tends to do that to a people.
In the biting words of Eddie Vedder: "Am I smart enough? Am I tough enough? I don't give a f***. I just wanna live life and be dumb and happy like an American!"

This happens in a lot of Western countries, and other countries too for that matter.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

Being old enough I see that every day even on this BOARD....
I would suggest googling Nigel Calder, or going to A Watts site, the boys at real climate are spinning like tops currently.
You know how long they tried to block Svensmark's papers from being publishe and tried to cut the funding to delay the CLOUD experiment?
