Default Some Good Ole' Fashioned Common Sense From... Geraldine Ferraro?!?

http://www.dailybreeze.com/lifeandculture/ci_8489268

"If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position," she continued. "And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept." Ferraro does not buy the notion of Obama as the great reconciler.

"I was reading an article that said young Republicans are out there campaigning for Obama because they believe he's going to be able to put an end to partisanship," Ferraro said, clearly annoyed. "Dear God! Anyone that has worked in the Congress knows that for over 200 years this country has had partisanship - that's the way our country is."

She is obviously a racist, she should be condemmed from every corner of the earth!

No wonder her husband cheated on his taxes, he is probably a racist too!

She sounds bitter, and she's wrong. Close your eyes and forget what Obama looks like, and listen to his speeches. Now seriously, how does he not beat Hilliary by a landslide? The comparisons to JFK would be over the top.

Hillary is unelectable. Most of us have been saying that for quite some time. She'll sell her kid though if she has to. I'm just not sure it'll be enough. She might be able to steal the nomination from Obama, but she'll never beat McCain. Too many people hate her, and if she steals the nomination, all those energized Obama supporters will pissed, and won't support Hillary. I'd much prefer Obama to Hillary, cuz he at least seems genuine. The problem for the Dems though is that Hillary will most likely try to exploit Obama, like with the 3AM ad, and weaken him nationally. Why? Cuz she figures that McCain would be a 1 term president, thus opening up her chances in 2012, while an Obama admin could go 8 years, and would go unopposed by dems in 2012.

I agree with this... my hunch feeling is that if Obama wins the nomination, Hillary's supporters will gladly go over to him... but if Hillary wins the nomination, Obama's supporters are going to be pissed.... hell, there was that one guy who recently said something about how they would turn Denver 2008 into Chicago 1968... (I wish I could remember the exact quote)...

She isn't bitter, she's a liberal democrat who sees it for what it is.

The far left wing socialists have been waiting for years for somone who Can Talk Like And Looks Like Obama to come along, Al & Jessie Jackoff tried but they are nothing but a couple of street bum trouble makers they even embarrassed their own people.

What you are seeing now is a Form Of Racism that the liberals try to deny exists, Oprah Winfey & Jessie Jackoff worshipped the Clintons, that is until Prince Barack showed up.

The White vote goes to the white candidate-----Thats racism
The Black vote goes to the Black Candidate------Thats beautiful, thats normal.

Thats Racist Bull***** (reverse racism, like it or not liberals, it's out there)

All true. I was looking at the recent delegate count and don't see how she can catch him. Even when she beats him she only gains a few delegates. A short while back, she had a huge lead in super delegates, now its 36. If she continues to go negative, it will cost her big time.

McCain wouldn't be in his position had he not been a POW. How many politicians are only in their position because they're privileged and white? The president immediately springs to mind....

Obama's race plays a factor, no one is denying that but if it were solely the fact that he was black and not any of his other attributes, we'd have a lot of black politicians.

To say Obama wasn't privileged is laughable.

Why are people voting for him? His record? His accomplishments?

I saw Bagalia on CNN say last Tuesday that 25% of Hillary supporters said they would vote for McCain if Obama was the nominee. Both dem candidates have flaws nationally. (all 3 are bad candidates) The flaws weren't so exposed before, but the current primary mess is making it worse. Personally, the elongated process is hurtfull, and not helpfull. Clinton, were she truly genuine, and concerned with her party winning in November, would drop out. She won't though. In all honesty, why should she? She's won all the major states. The states that Obama will have to win to beat McCain. She can make a legitimate case that she is the better national candidate for that reason alone. I don't believe that is necessarily true, but it's a valid argument. He can't secure enough delegates to win it outright. Remember, she is nasty, and she will do the dirty work for the GOP until the convention. If she can't win, then he sure as hell won't, that's what her thinking is IMO. She'd prefer McCain win now, so she can run in 2012. What a douche.
