White House lost Over FIVE MILLION e-mails in two year period.
GOP breaks promise, will not retrieve White House emails from 2001-2003; likely that e-mails during the first term of Bush admin, including those of Karl Rove, will never be recovered.

"The result is a potentially enormous gap in the historical record," Waxman said, including the buildup to the Iraq war.

What the heck is the difference, 500 million White House documents or $9 billion dollars missing in Iraq? And why are we discussing this when we can dis Obama on his patriotism.

I don't see any evidence of a crime being comitted. Faulty equipment or the unintentional misinterpretation of the rules pertaining to the handling of Emails at the White House do not meet the criteria of a crime being comitted. If it did someone would have been charged. As far as the GOP is concerned, they have no obligation under the law to either retain or restre those Emails. As a lawyer I would advise them not to based on the "witch hunt" atmoshphere that always is present in DC.

Yea, its a witchunt. Hmmmmmmm, fault equipment. Constitution = piece of paper.

Worst President AND Worst Administration... Ever.
The next administration needs to restore the rule of LAW and see these people tried for obstruction of justice.

Instead of opinion can you point to a pertinent law that has been broken? It seems to me that you are implying that the next administration should have a hand in shaping the way that the Justice Department enforces the law. Is it your opinion that the Executive Office has the power to shape the way prosecutors choose cases to prosecute?

Well, considering the purges of U.S. Attorneys last year, George Bush sure seems to think so.

Before I can answer the question, what specific crime are you referring to...? A bunch of politicians made a promise and then broke it... that's hardly a crime, and that's hardly something unique to the RNC...
