WBBM TV in Chicago recently aired a program on violence in Chicago. Included in the program was a video of an interview with a 4 year old black boy.

"Kids on the street as young as four were there to see it all unfold, and had disturbing reactions," then-anchor Steve Bartelstein said, leading into video of an interview with the four-year-old boy.

When asked, "What are you going to do when you get older?" the boy responds: “I’m going to have me a gun!”

Shocking!! Scary!! The sort of thing that simply proves the point of certain posters here and around the world.

Except - they didn't show the full interview.

In the full interview the reporter asks the boy "You are! Why do you want to do that?”

And the little boy replies:

“I'm going to be the police!”

So go ahead - tell me how the video was cut because of time constraints, because his explanation was irrelevant, because it didn't add anything to the story, because it made no difference or whatever other justification you can come up with.

I say it was deliberate and it is part of a sickness which fills a pandering media and the hearts of far too many viewers who only want to imagine the bad, see the bad, hear the bad and propagate the bad - and if it's not happening they're only too happy to manufacture it.

And it's disgusting.

The agenda was to draw attention to gang violence, That's fine. but the edited interview told a lie that can only add fuel to the fire. I hope this backfires on Steve's dream of a Pulitzer. Actually I hope it gets him fired.

I don't care about the topic you want to discuss...

But I notice that the kid has a perversion of what the police is, and in his mind, the police is only the people who have the most force to inflict damage...

He should not be allowed on the police as he will be one of the ones who indiscriminately kills before ensuring he's shooting the right person or even if he should shoot.

The fact that a 4 year old is discussing issues like this is a microcosm of the culture which is being spread in the urban settings. The urban culture is a regression culture if I have ever seen one, punished for being smart, and each generation is rewarded for making poor decisions earlier and earlier in life...

It's another world, and a world I want 0 of my money going too...
