And yet you are both very disbelieving and defensive when someone like Breitbart or FOX News is accused of it.
Methinks the dreaded "H" word is rearing it's ugly head here once again.
I agree you're being a hypocrite (what exactly is the connection between this tv station and Andrew Breitbart?).
Anyway, please provide an example of me doing what you've accused me of. TIA.

"The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of doubt, what is laid before him." Leo Tolstoy, 1897
WBBM TV in Chicago recently aired a program on violence in Chicago. Included in the program was a video of an interview with a 4 year old black boy.
"Kids on the street as young as four were there to see it all unfold, and had disturbing reactions," then-anchor Steve Bartelstein said, leading into video of an interview with the four-year-old boy.
When asked, "What are you going to do when you get older?" the boy responds: “I’m going to have me a gun!”
End of video..........
Shocking!! Scary!! The sort of thing that simply proves the point of certain posters here and around the world.
Except - they didn't show the full interview.
In the full interview the reporter asks the boy "You are! Why do you want to do that?”
So go ahead - tell me how the video was cut because of time constraints, because his explanation was irrelevant, because it didn't add anything to the story, because it made no difference or whatever other justification you can come up with.
I say it was deliberate and it is part of a sickness which fills a pandering media and the hearts of far too many viewers who only want to imagine the bad, see the bad, hear the bad and propagate the bad - and if it's not happening they're only too happy to manufacture it.
And it's disgusting.
hmm i want to say unethical but not racist
i've seen media do this before to people of all race, to create sensationalism
when was the last time you were banned you big baby...this forum is lawless
Harry doesn't break the rules this post is more of a rule breaker than anything Harry posts.
He doesn't refer to other posters in a disparaging way as youdo in your post.
He attacks libs generically which is fine just as Patters attacks conservatives generically.
There is a difference, I hope you can see this.

"How does (Miami-Ohio offensive lineman Brandon) Brooks not get invited to the combine? How did Vollmer not get invited to the combine? I don't know. We can't really worry about that. We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

wow, really? Anything i post in response to Harry is tongue in cheek...other than that, i dont think i have refered to other posters in a dispararging way. If i had and somehow broke the rules of this forum, i am sure i would have been PMd.
That's quite a conclusion to draw from a kid saying he's going to have a gun b/c he's going to be the police.
I'm guessing many, if not most, boys associate police with uniforms and guns.
When I was a kid we always played with toy or imaginary guns. It's part of being a boy, isn't it? I don't think you can draw any conclusions about this particular boy based on that brief "interview."

Mrs, to answer your question, I have no reason to think it was racist, but horrible journalism and unethical, yes.
That post kind of rocked me too. Soooooooooooo, I guess the police should send the rejection letter to a 4 year old who wants to be a police officer because he wants a gun. Got it!
