Default Joe "Fiscal Responsibility" Walsh

Ya-all know Joe Walsh, don't ya? He's The Tea Party backed freshman representative from Illinois who ran on a platform of fiscal responsibility. He's on record as having stated, "I won't place one more dollar of debt on the backs of my kids," more than once. He's also got a video on his web site in which he refers to Obama "spending money like a drunken sailor for three years."

Well, it turns out that the congressman has had some financial trouble of his own in the past. His alleged financial problems made headlines while he was campaigning last year, when former campaign field director Richard Cape claimed he would "spend, spend, spend uncontrollably." (Like a drunken sailor, perhaps?) His campaign manager quit and sued for $20,000 in nonpayment, and two other staffers who quit accused him of not properly disclosing a 2008 home foreclosure and traffic citations to the public, taking their grievances public. Walsh also bounced checks, including one to a Republican fundraiser.

A Walsh spokesman at the time called it a smear campaign by disgruntled workers and said the congressman had learned from his financial struggles, including the foreclosure.

Maybe not.....apparently he hasn't learned a thing since it turns out his ex-wife is suing him for back child support in the amount of $117,437.00.

(And it is with great restraint that I am not telling you about the two international vacations he's taken or the $35,000 he loaned his own campaign while telling her he was out of work, between jobs and unable to support his own children.)

Joe Walsh Sued For More Than $100,000 In Child Support

It's a damn good thing he won't place one more dollar of the country's debt on the back of his children since one more dollar of his own debt is probably enough to assure their starvation.

So it makes sense for the country to be run into the ditch cause a congressman couldn't manage his money?

And if someone votes for a law that makes murder illegal and he has killed someone it invalidates the reasoning behind the law?

Cause that the 'logic' your trying to use.....

The "logic" I'm using is this:

Do you trust a financial planner who's lost his own house, defaulted on his own bills, written bad checks to the people supporting him and who refuses to pay court ordered support for his own children to handle your finances?

Coz that's the logic you're tryng to use of you're saying you feel he's perfectly capable of solving the nation's financial crisis.

indeed.

Just because someone is irresponsible, unethical, and immoral in their personal life, doesn't mean they will act that way when they are empowered with political office.................

Oh yeah...I forgot. That's why no one ever objected to Clinton, Wu, Anthony Weiner, John Edwards, Barney Frank, Maxine Waters or Eric Massa staying in or running for office.

And 13 never said

He's also never had a problem with Maxine Waters, Ted Kennedy, Rep. Jefferson or anyone else who's been accused or convicted of an immoral, illegal, irresponsible or unethical act.

Well, he certainly isn't the man for the job but that doesn't mean that the job is right or wrong. He's a hypocrite, absolutely.

What concerns me most is his not paying child support..

Only the lowest of the lowest men do not pay child support... he should be held in contempt, and if he violates that should go to jail.. or wear a orange jumpsuit and pick up trash on the side of the highways on weekends..

Interesting that "sexting" brought a congressman down, but not fulfilling your basic responsibility as a divorced parent and as ordered by the Court, seems to be getting a pass.

Congressman Joe Walsh calls the president a socialist. Frequently claiming President Obama wants to take from the rich and redistribu*ted the wealth in America.

Now Joe is found out to be the biggest sociailist from Illinois. He has redistributed the weath from his ex-wife and wife and childen and distribute*d it to his new girlfriend*.

Of course his defense will be the Main Stream Media has done this to him, another victim is born..

The duplicity of the right rears its ugly pimply face once again..

Vitter puts on diaper for his ho.. no one cares on the right
Joe Walsh does not pay child support..no one cares on the right

Weiner is caught sexting.. there is moral outrage and the righties gets their depends in a bunch
Kerry's defender gets caught with child porn.. and once again the situational righty moral outrage again surfaces.

Lawrence O'Donnell ripped him a new one last Friday. He must have used the word deadbeat Dad 8 or 9 times. Bill Maher also ripped into him on Real Time.

If Walsh lived in Massachusetts he would be #1 on this list:

Ten Most Wanted — All

Nothing worse than so called parents not taking care of their children.

Here is the PDF of what Walsh would be looking at in Massachusetts for failure to pay:
