I think we all know wikileaks is as bad as any organization there is PF13. Murdoch's group isn't quite that bad.

Wikileaks is a very different sort of organization. I see Wikileaks and LulzSec as sort of left wing libertarians (i.e., anarchistic), sort of like James O'Keefe, Orly Taitz, Breitbart, etc. who challenge the status quo with sometimes questionable tactics. In all cases, I mostly respect their tactics, even though I may disagree with some of their goals. While I'm pretty much a mainstream liberal, I do believe there is a power elite that is sometimes so cozy with the media and with each other that there is no proper checks and balances. Fox is clearly part of the power elite--it is a for profit organization with mainstream corporate goals that cozies up to those entities they perceive as in their corporate interest.

So it depends on who is stealing and bugging?

The only similarities between Wikileaks and News is that Julian Assange and Rupert Murdoch are Australians.
I don't recall Wikileaks bribing politicians, police or hacking into individuals phones or computers. Assange has also been arrested multiple times.

Right, they just hack the computers of governments and corporations. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Where did I say that there is "nothing to see here?" If you can't see the difference between a computer hacker and a worldwide, for profit, Corporation bribing politicians and police in pursuit of the all mighty dollar I don't know what to tell you.
Assange has been arrested and brought up on many charges over the years. I doubt James or Rupert will come close to being arrested.
One other thing: When did Assange own a newspaper, TV network, movie studio, etc?

Wikileaks didn't as all information was submitted to the site. Assange was a big-time hacker before that.

How do they get their info? Classified info, going back in Time we have the NYTimes getting the Pentagon Papers.
The Outrage at Murdoch is due to his politics not what was done.

From some guy in the United States Army.
Quote:
In his Army dress greens, Pvt. Bradley Manning looks like most of his fellow soldiers; but beneath the uniform, many suspect, is a man who may be responsible for the leaking of over 90,000 secret military reports to the whistleblower website WikiLeaks.
Manning was stationed at a base 40 miles east of Baghdad, at Forward Operating Base Hammer. Manning, who enlisted in the Army in 2007, was working as an Army intelligence analyst, pouring through classified information. What he saw with his clearance level, it is believed, left him disillusioned with U.S. foreign policy.
The twenty-two year old Manning went online to find someone who would listen. He tracked down a former computer hacker in Sacramento, California named Adrian Lamo. Manning read an article in Wired, a magazine on the technology world, that featured Lamo and thought he would be a kindred spirit.
