Default Starting Salaries for Lawyers Plunge 20%.....

GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting read.....

"Starting salaries for last year’s U.S. law school graduates plummeted 20 percent as private practice jobs eroded, according to a report by the National Association for Law Placement.

The national median starting salary at law firms dropped to $104,000 from $130,000 in 2009, reflecting a shift in the distribution of jobs and salary adjustments at some firms, the NALP said today. The report cited information submitted by 192 laws schools and covering 93 percent of 2010 graduates."

Kinda hard to feel sorry for people who still get their first job at over $100k.
college bills are not relevant....

Cool!! Excellent news! Now all those people who object to ObamaCare on the grounds that a doctor's pay will suffer and people will quit becoming doctors can all quit complaining.

See, I DO agree with you when I think you are right.

Medical School applications were up 2.5% last year, although the trend has been "up" since 2002-2003.

Whether or not Obamacare drives some doctors to retire early, it certainly exacerbates the shortage of physicians that we already have (if you believe that the now-covered did not visit doctors before).
