Default Will Casey Anthony make millions from the murder of her daughter?

As much as I hate the idea of Casey walking free, the idea of her making
millions over the death of her child makes me sick.

She will be asking a pretty penny for any interview.

A book deal....

Movie of the week.....

The idea that this white trash Psychopath/Sociopath make a single
dollar off of the death of her child makes me sick.

Before the death of her child, a big night for Casey was drinking Korbels
from a big gulp cup.

Now she will probably make millions......

All depends on the law in Florida when it comes to misdemeanor convictions.

Correct me if I'm wrong on the 4 counts she was found guilty of (lying to law enforcement).

Still not sure if she can make money off this but knowing Florida I wouldn't be surprised.

BTW: Unfortunately I think the next big thing for cable news networks is going to be the Fujita trial*. "All-American girl" murdered by boyfriend. It is already all over the cable news websites.

I heard somewhere that the max she can get for 4 counts of lying is 4 years - and she's already served 3.

It's entirely possible she walks tomorrow morning.

She's served 3 years already?

I have no sympathy for her, but this is the kind of thing that is often overlooked by the general public, I think. Had she been innocent, we'd be looking at an innocent person deprived of 3 years of her life...

(Was bail refused because of the charges or circumstances?)

She was bonded out originally but shortly after she got out of jail she was re-arrested for stealing, forging and cashing some $700.00 in checks from a friend of hers and her original bail money was rescinded by the bondsman who put it up for her.

Bail was denied when she was arrested in 2008 although she briefly got out on a $500,000 bail that was quickly revoked.

3 years in prison and acquitted. Gotta love our legal system.

I don't think it was denied, was it? It was my understanding that after she was rearrested for stealing the checks that the bondsman who put up her bond rescinded his money - and no one else would touch it.

It's part of our legal system - if you, your family, your friends or a bondsman either can't or won't come up with the necessary percentage of money, you get to stay in jail.

She's surely not the only one this has happened to. Poor people sit in jail every day because they can't come up with the necessary cash money to bond out.

Plus, if you violate conditions of your bail it's entirely at the court's discretion as to whether you get to continue being free while awaiting trial.

It's not too smart to commit a second crime when you are just let out on bail for a first one.

Not everyone is Lindsey Lohan lucky.
