Default NewsCorp is deep Doo-Doo

This time, they may have gone too far.

Long story short...

Missing girl in the UK
Newscorp hacked into her voicemail.
Deleted messages to 'clear space'
Police thought she was alive and checking her messages
investigation tampered with
somehow paying off cops to keep this thing quiet?

The NewsCorp owned tabloids having been doing this kind of stuff to celebrities, sportsmen, etc for a long time in the UK.

This story is buried on foxnews.com.

But....but but.....aren't they connected with FoxNews??

Strange, usually they like publicity.

fwiw, I don't think this reflects much on Newscorp or at all on Fox News. This is part of what gets overlooked when people try to blame CEOs for corporations' criminal acts. Somebody should be held accountable here, but it's not Murdoch (well, most likely not). It's more along the lines of the (relatively) "little guy" -- an editor or whoever thought this was a good idea at the paper in question.

I disagree with you on Murdoch as he is a piece of garbage. He happily gave up his Australian citizenship to become an American citizen to avoid Australian tax laws*

His son, Lachlan, has been running the Australian arm of NewsCorp since he was 22 and also runs a cable provider in Australia.

Murdoch is the epitomy of money, money and more money no matter what.

*Prior to 2002 if you were an Australian citizen and obtained citizenship from another Country you were no longer an Aussie citizen.
