Google "thugocracy russia" and happy reading.
Unfortunately, State, in a globalized world we need to deal with nations that are less free and more autocratic than the United States. How else do you explain America being China's best and most reliable customer?

I don't know where you're getting "giving it to whatever it wants." I suspect ratification of the new START treaty went a good distance in repairing relations between our nations.

That's a good point, Jack Bauer. I remember China stealing us blind during the Clinton years, which should have been a national scandal.

There was a lot of sensitive technological transfers under Clinton, some of which was by his own initiative. BBC News | Americas | Analysis: China catches up by espionage

The Red Chinese probably support Obama, too.

I thought conservatives didn't get a tinker's damn what any other country in the world thinks?

Oh, right. I forgot the rules of the game change when there's a Democrat in office.

Chico, how is the Communist Party USA a "foreign nation"?

Could you be clearer? I don't know your point.

But you're right. I don't care to have international law replace the Constitution, which is the latest development in the law. And I think the UN should be booted out of Manhattan.

My point is that if a thug who doesn't follow ethics or morality supports you, there is potentially a problem.

Let us all pray that the United States of America never worries about international over constitutional law when it comes to legal issues within our borders.

That would be insane.
