Yes, Gaddafi is a bad guy, but Obama conveniently ignores the fact that until the uprising, the administration was rushing to do business with him. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton met with one of Gadhafi’s sons, Mutassim Gadhafi, in 2009, declaring, “I’m very much looking forward to building on this relationship.”
It is especially strange for Obama to rhetorically place Libya back on the list of the state sponsors of terrorism when, in fact, it was removed four years ago — after Gaddafi gave up his illicit weapons programs, renounced terrorism and paid billions of dollars to settle claims with terror victims.

What did Libya do to warrant removal from the state sponsors list?
The process of welcoming Libya "in from the cold" began in the late 1990s. The first significant step came in 1999 when, after prolonged negotiations with UN and UK representatives, Libya turned over two of its citizens to be tried in The Hague for their role in the Pan Am 103 bombing. Subsequently, Clinton administration officials, led by then-Assistant Secretary of State Martin Indyk, began secret negotiations with Libya.
At the same time, Qaddafi increasingly moved to cut Libya's ties to terrorism. Starting in 1999, Qaddafi expelled the Abu Nidal Organization, closed Libya's terrorist training camps, cut ties to Palestinian militants, and extradited suspected terrorists to Egypt, Yemen, and Jordan. In the 2002 edition of the state sponsors of terrorism list, the State Department said Qaddafi had "repeatedly denounced terrorism."
Always find it amazing that the right was so tolerant of George W. who lied his way to a war that has cost us over 3 trillon dollars, lost over 4500 American Lives and killed over 150,000 Iraqi women and children(collateral damage).
Stop all the wars, bring everybody home, close half of the american basis overseas(about 350 of them), stop building futurist weapons to use on third world countries.. stop the military industrial complex, invest in America.

But it started with Woodrow Wilson. He campaigned with "He kept us out of war." Then, once elected, he almost immediately sent us into the disastrous WWI.
