He's a US Senator so I guess we shouldn't be surprised that he doesn't know the Constitution.

After using illegal immigrants as props to push the DREAM Act, Sen. Durbin (D-IL) made the following statement at a Senate committee hearing:

"When I look around this room, I see America's future. Our doctors, our teachers, our nurses, our engineers, our scientists, our soldiers, our Congressman, our Senators and maybe our President."

However, Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution says: "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

The dems think the constitution should be whatever benefits them politically. Too many pubbies believe this also. That is why they laughed at reporters who asked if the individual mandate in Obamacare was constitutional.

Man, it's really sad that INS didn't round up all those illegal immigrants Durbin surrounded himself with right then & there! I'm dead serious, do we actually allow our active congressmen to publically gather with illegal immigrants?

Arresting them all would have made great PR.

It boggles the mind. I love the "shadows" talking point alot of the appoligists use. As if illegals are hiding out in alley's and afraid to walk out in public. PLEASE! Here they are seated at a senate hearing on Capitol Hill! This country's leadership is a joke. Are they not paying attention to what's happening in places like Greece? I swear, when the poop hits the fan I hope the locals go to these losers houses with tar and pitch forks like they did during the days of our founding.

I am laughed at, scoffed at and called "a racist" whenever I mention the Good Old Days, I find it very sad to think of The America that all of your grandchildren will have to live in.
