Although it's not an "official" poll, CNBC followers are among the smartest people who follow economic news....they know their sh1t!

I've had no confidence in Bernanke since the day he was appointed. Many of the Fed's regional presidents don't support his policies either. So they're prolly wicked smaht too!

Real World

Just so people know, Bernanke isn't in a genuine political position. Fed chairman operate independently from the president. Bernanke was appointed to the fed BoG by GW in 2006 to a 14 year term, and was nominated to return as chairman by Obama in 2010 (70-30 senate vote). So supporting or criticizing him shouldn't fall on party lines IMO.

As for the poll, it is an internet poll, and I doubt most of the people in this country even understand who or what this guy really does.

Also, there is a REASON CNBC conducted this (unofficial) poll. Think about that for a minute...you just don't conduct polls on something there is little public knowledge or concern about. So, why is this poll on their website?
