I read that John Wayne Gacy was a really good clown. So much so that he knew all of the secrets and inner workings of the Fraternal Order of Clowndum.

Guys like Bozo, Ronald McDonald and Krusty feared that Gacy could expose them and their less than jovial ways so they set him up by killing and burying over 30 young men in Gacy's basement. He was manipulated and used.

To the OP;

Which books have you read that led you to conclude that Bulger "took down" the Italian mob? I'm just curious, because the 5 books I've read about him all state that the info he provided the FBI was basically a joke. This was determined by the authorities when they investigated the FBI agents involved, after Bulger fled Boston. You can also find many docs about him on youtube.

As for your comment in the other thread. I hope I misunderstood this. You're not seriously defending this murderer, just because you're Irish, and from (I assume) Southie????? Not that it really matters, but I'm Irish, and I think he's a POS who deserves to be in jail, or dead. So, your comment that people on here must be Italian, is well, kind of stupid

I believe you. I googled it because I had the same thought and I live on the other coast. Halberstam's book, The Powers That Be detailed why there is a dearth of mass transit in LA..Sorry for the OT
