I didn't know you were a new world order, global government type of guy Wistah. I'm with PR. I don't want a global government, nor an open border world. I'll say this, if the world does end up without borders, it won't be because it was planned that way.

"My people"?? You're an American wistah. If you're referring to Scottland, I'm with you myself. I'm 25% Scottish, 25% Irish, 25% French (yup, I'm embarressed) and 25% German. I don't see any of those countries as "my people" but I see you as my people.

I'll bank on the above with you, but not in our lifetime I can guarantee you that wistah. We can let all the other countries find their dreams, but it's not our responsibility. I'm glad countries like China and India are making progress, but they've done it on their own and good for them.

P.S. It can only happen in our lifetime if we're visited by intelligence from another planet...

I think it's worth mentioning that the best selling non-fiction book in Germany for months and months is the one by Thilo Sarrazin, _Germany Is Doing Away with Itself_.

Now, if the EU institutions wish to avoid being held hostage by the robber agencies they should stop using the ratings as a basis for lending collateral at the ECB. They should create their own more rigorous method of assessing credit-worthiness, ignore the agencies altogether, and make their case directly to global investors.

What the EU should not do is try to muzzle free opinion, or free speech. We are on a slippery slope.
