amazing that the "prove it" guy -- who visits once per year and suggests none of us have any proof of anything they post -- is, ironically, coming to the political forum because he "needs to know something"

anyhow, considering it was repressive Rethuglican senator Bill Frist who snuck in the anti-online gambling act (hidden under the Ports Security bill), i would guess it certainly isn't one of the corporate-enabling candidates... even though it's done nothing to stop online gambilng, and has instead made it more popular...

further, considering they can't find a way to cultivate tax revenue off Americans who might actually make some decent secondary monetary gains at the poker table, i would be comfortable in suggesting it damn sure isn't any of our wacko religious right Republicans who are in favor of online gambling...

Ron Paul.

He is for legalizing almost everything.

He doesn't actually support gambling, but, he is for people's rights.

yeah im part of the PPA

I play a lot and don't want it to go away. I'm finally making decent money and im going to be depressed if it gets banned completely. I just don't see how that's possible though. it seems like there will always be a way.

Anywho, i heard about Paul... but doesn't he have zero chance to win?

I heard other than that, Mr. Obama would be the best choice.

it's never going to be "banned completely"... they passed legislation outlawing it 16 months ago, and yet most of the major online casinos are back to taking US deposits as freely as ever ...

It's not going away. If anything it will be somehow legalized though certainly not in any election year. I'm sure there's something about this on 2+2 no?

I don't know the answer to this question for sure but I will say this: One of the biggest allies of those of us who support gambling is none other than Barney Frank. It is probably the only issue I agree with him on.

wow... after all that, you soil the whole ambition by wrapping things up and suggesting it's all fixed...

based on what, countless dumb people who call all the way to the river and hit their runner-runner flush? we remember the bad beats forever, and seem to gloss over the big pots...

regardless, there's no incentive for a major online casino to cheat... they make money hand-over-fist already....
