All the letters in this image from Obama supposed birth cert ie they are supposed to be from the same typewriter, clearly they are not.
Even with the same font each ball on an IBM Selectric had a distinctive letter, due to difference in the tooling used to form the letters on the typewriter ball and the wear of these letters due to use, things we no longer see with computer fonts and laser/inkjet printing.
