Yes, but I'd say I pay more attention to politics than 90 percent of America.
Would Chris Lee have any impact on my vote? He's not my Congressman, so no, he wouldn't.

Texting pictures of your junk/self to any woman who is NOT your wife, makes you a complete a-hole. (Unless, of course you have some kind of an 'open relationship' which works for some people.)
RW, I know you, and I know that stuff is tongue and cheek, but for a guy in public office to do that...then tip toe around it is super sleazy, and not really fit to represent people in my opinion.
Its a lot like Tiger Woods, none of it would be a big deal if they weren't married.
If you are prone to be a sleazebucket, chances are you are involved in politics. If you are a sleazeball, prone to like many young women...DON'T GET MARRIED!
I agree with you HD. I think stuff like this does say something about the persons charactor. I guess I'm less upset about a guy/gal looking to get laid than I am with that same guy/gal accepting bribes on the job. That's all. If he were my congressman right now, under these same circumstances, I'd be of the opinion that she should resign. He's not my congressman though.

"The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of doubt, what is laid before him." Leo Tolstoy, 1897
What an interesting concept - a "new" woman has come forward a week before the old one.
How does that work, anyhow?
A new woman has come forward with what she claims are photographs, chats, and emails with Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY). BigGovernment.com and BigJournalism.com were approached regarding this information more than a week prior to the separate, independent event of Friday, May 27, 2011, when a link to the now-infamous “gray underwear” photograph appeared publicly on Rep. Weiner’s Twitter feed.
And what the hell is an online, consensual relationship involving the mutual exchange of intimate photographs. anyhow?
I particularly love that part where they have the pictures, but won't be releasing them due to their "extreme graphic nature."
Have they never heard of pixelating?
We'll see - whatever. Weiner's toast whether any of it is true or not. It doesn't matter if you're as guilty as John Edwards or Larry Craig or as innocent as Shirley Sharrod or Gary Condit - once the story's out there your career is essentially over.
Heck, witness what just happened to that long honored American hero, Paul Revere.
One wrong word from someone with media attention and he's now, and forever more, a traitor.
Ouch. Must hurt to have your foot lodged so thoroughly and deeply in your mouth.
Yup. That's it. He's a democrat so all those pictures are fakes and all those women are just lying, right?
Little Hatchet Face Wiener is all over TV this afternoon, he had his press conference and the little creep finally confessed, he sounded just like Bill Clinton, he said he he won't quit, arrogant little slimeball.

Ouch. Must hurt to have your foot lodged so thoroughly and deeply in your mouth.
Not at all. I never said he wasn't guilty, I never said he wasn't lying. I said, "We'll see," and I said, "Whatever." I said I agreed that it probably was his "junk," and I said that he doesn't strike me as being that dumb that he'd do it under his own name under his own Twitter account, but that I'd been fooled before. I said he had not yet admitted anything and that there was no proof that he had sent the picture (and, at the time, there was not.) I said I hoped he wasn't lying and I said I'd wait for proof one way or the other - which I did....and once the truth became evident, I said what I wanted to say.
If you think any of that was "putting my foot in my mouth," that would be your perogative. Everything I've said is easily enough re-read by anyone who cares to read it. Perhaps they'll have better reading comprehension than yourself.

I made absolutely NO comments about "all those women," none whatsoever. I also never said anything about "all those pictures" being fakes. I doubted Brathbart's honesty but then again, who wouldn't? The man's got a reputation as a liar and a photo/video manipulator and to suspect him to be lying/manipulating one more time should not be unexpected.
See above...read the actual threads and the actual posts before you make claims you cannot back up.
Liberals have the advantage because we're not as judgmental as are conservatives when it comes to the private lives of individuals. While of course Weiner (especially given his name) made an ass of himself, it's not that big of an issue. It's only a big deal when Republicans engage in this kind of behavior because they're so judgmental, and when they adapt a holier-than-thou attitude and then get caught with their pants down (a la Vitter, Gingrich, Ensign, Stamford, etc.) we like to expose their hypocrisy, which often forces them out of office. It's fun for us. The Weiner scandal will prove frustrating to conservatives, as soon as the initial fun wears off. I'm glad he's not resigning.
Well he apologized to Breitbart, now we will see if all the lefties who assaulted Breitbart and slander him as a 'hacker' will admit they were wrong.

When you're still saying "we'll see" and "whatever" after every shred of reasonable doubt has been eliminated, then that's pretty much doing nothing but making a fool of yourself.

No surprise there. Another Mrs.PFnVA post concluding with a personal attack (good thing you're liberal!). I guess that's all you have after humiliating yourself so thoroughly.
Keep trying to dislodge your foot from your mouth!

Since when is making a public post to a Twitter account for all the world to see considered "private"? Not to mention accusing others of engaging in a felony to cover up his own idiocy.
If this incident was indeed "private" you may have a point. But instead, as usual, your arguments demonstrate a complete lack of basic understanding of the actual facts.

He accused Breitbart of hacking his account BTW he also used his government Blackberry and account to do his online sex sessions.
I do agree conservatives hold politicians to much higher standards than liberals who essentially have no ethical standards for politicians.
