Isn't this the type of ad hominen attacks that Ian warned us about??

It would seem that a mod would model appropriate behavior, not just make a personal attack without adding to the discussion.

And when this descends into name calling the mod will just walk away and not take any responsibility for his behavior.

This one, too, for the next time you try to pretend you don't say these things about "the muslims"

I agree with that take when it comes to guys like Ron Paul, and maybe Herman Cain. But I can't think of any interesting ideas coming from her.

for me it's not so much her ideas ... it's that she represents an opinion shared by some Americans ... for better or worse. The more candidates who represent opinions of Americans the better IMO. When only several candidates dominate the debate from the onset of the election process i see that as a failure.

What in her record makes you say that she was a very effective executive?

I cannot see her leading this country ... she would tear it apart IMO. i can think of other women I'd rather see as President - she reminds me of a commercial for incontinence.

agreed -- though I'd like to see more candidates who also challenge people's ideas

That's where folks like Ron Paul come in. I don't like some of what he says, but I do like some, and some of the rest are tough issues. I'd like to see more of that in each election as well.
