Bottom line is this: Roughly 4 out of every 5 voters in today's primary voted for someone that has the same skin color they do.
I thought only Replicans voted along racial lines...?

It's a phenonomen you don't understand. White people, when asked to describe themselves, almost never mention the color of their skin. They take it for granted. Minorities are very aware of their color because our society makes them aware of it. Therefore, there is some pride among minorities when one of their own does well. Perhaps you belong to an ethnic group and can look back, say, 50 years, when for instance Jews, Italians, and others took special pride when one of their own did very well. It's a byproduct of prejudice, but of course with your recent expressions of cultural sensitivity I'm sure I'm not telling you anything new.

Incidentally, one exit poll says that 49% of whites under 30 votes for Obama. Goes to show that the younger generations are far more liberal than than the older ones. Bodes well for a liberal future.
How arrogant - and liberal - of you to tell me what I do and do not understand.

Bottom line is this: Black folk are voting for Obama and white folk are voting for Clinton or Edwards at a (roughly) 80% clip. Looks to me like the dems are pretty obsessed with skin color and only electing someone that looks like themselves.

"Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man without a heart. Show me on old liberal and I'll show you a man without a brain."

I guess you don't get it, but you wouldn't want to. You're desperate to find racism in the party that that's truly diverse. Of course, in the Republican Party, you can't measure black support for black candidates, can you?

Here's your chance to proclaim the Republican Party is above racism. Obama wins the Democratic nomination. Will the Republicans play the race card?
Yes or No.

Of course not because the KKKlintons will have already outdone anything ever seen before in the history of American politics. Heck, I keep expecting Bill KKKlinton to start calling him Barack "psst he's black" Obama.
