Jerome Kerviel named in €5bn bank trading fraud

The French bank Société Générale stunned financial markets today by revealing that it had been the victim of a near-€5 billion (£3.7 billion) rogue trading fraud, one of the world's largest and four times the size of the cover-up by Nick Leeson, the man who sank Barings.

The bank declined to identify the trader, but he has been named as Jérôme Kerviel, a 31-year-old options trader.

"He is not here and we do not know when he will be back," said a colleague who answered his line at the bank's trading room in La Défense, the business district west of Paris.

No problem, If Hillary loses they can hire her as a options trader, after all she turned $1,000 into $100,000 in a year, Imagine what she could do with 7 billion, she could pay off the national debt in a year.

If you're a Ewen McGregor fan I strongly suggest you watch one of his earlier films, Rogue Trader where he plays Nick Leeson. Good movie.

She isn't very savvy... but the insiders that tell her how to do it are kinda slick though.

She was doing futures contracts. I think it was will cattle, if I remember correctly. I thought she made over $250k from that experiment.

By knowing the right people, you can make a KILLING in these types of speculations.

And, they don't EVER plan on fixing the debt problem.

EVER...

That explains a LOT, also.

Wow, we're learning much in the past 12 hours about why you and Fogbuster are the way you are.
