Once again, I'm with Congressman Rogers, the Chair of the House Committe on Foreign Affairs. We don't need to hold up any scalps and give the rebel yell.
Screw the folks sitting on couches at home who "need closure". Let's think first of the brave young Americans fighting in Afghanistan as our TOP priority. When they come home,then I care less about withholding photos.
The radical Muslims you desire love from hate ANYONE who isn't in lock step with them - - including many of those muslims we saved in the 90's. In fact, Qadafi is obsessed with them and has had a huge complex about the Wahabi sect. You make a huge mistake thinking all muslims are the same. Don't waste your time hoping for the friendship of radical muslims. They are a small, but attention-getting minority that we must eliminate from the earth hopefully thorugh peaceful means, but violence if necessary.

I don't recall anyone talking about holding up the head of of KSM or the white trash girl.
We have been talking about being overly sensitive to the feelings of peopel who hate us anyway. We were talking about giving a mass muderer a nice and proper funeral on one of our ship so we don't offend anyone.

You used MacArthur and the Japanese as an example and a poorer example could not have been chosen.
Once again, I defer to what the Republican Chair of the House Intelligence Committee said today about our soldiers currently in the theatre. If it makes one less Afghan village elder less likely to cooperate with our guys right now, it is simply not worth it to unneccessarily poke 'em with a stick.
Killing the mother ****er was a good enough result. And it was too long in coming.
Let's face it. There really is very little reason to be in Afghanistan at this point other than for their Lithium, which the Chinese are competing with us to get.
I say let's smile nice, shake hands and make as many contract deals to mine as much of their precious natural resources as possible before the Chinese steal it out from under our noses.

I will end my stay here on this thread. But stating very clearly that I don't desire or expect any love from radical Muslims or radical leftist or rightist.
I do want mass murders and those who are plotting to be mass murdrers to be treated as the scum that they are.
