First thing's first, you KNOW the crowd was conservative/republican only. Secondly, I think we are finally seeing some people who believed in the front of what the TEA Party was telling you they wanted to do, and getting frustrated that the sacrafice, isn't shared.
TEA Partiers are waking up to the simple fact that they are being overlooked and stepped on by the very same people who funded the so called 'grass-roots' movement. The return on their emotional investment is bearing its fruit, and the fruit's name is REDISTRIBUTION TO THE ELITE.
The Ryan Budget could be the smelling salt these TEA party peeps need.

Getting booed may be a sign the man is taking a stand. Something most politicos won't do.
I happen to think this is exactly what we need. My only criticism is that he doesn't touch the military spending.
I'm afraid you guys are using this non-story--there's always hecklers for any public figure--to release your platitudes.
The real story is that Ryan is attracting large crowds and his message is obviously touching a chord with those who don't send spittle up to the rafters.
BTW, Ryan had the CBO run the numbers of our projected budgets and deficits into the future. The computers crashed for the year 2037, which isn't that far away, showing that current trends are clearly unsustainable.
The modern welfare state is kaput. Paradoxically, it's premised, as Mark Steyn has written, on a above-replacement birth rate. Yet, the mathematical average college educated white woman in the US has only 1.7 babies in her lifetime, which is far below the 2.1 bare maintenance level.

Yes, he is....and those non-spittlers were largely opposed the Ryan plan, holding signs such as “RyanCare = Dying Bare,” “Leave Medicare Alone” or simply, “Save Medicare!”

Explain, please. Do only the babies born to the "average college educated white woman in the US" count towards a replacement birth rate?
Is there some reason you are not counting the babies born to white non-college educated women or to black women or to hispanic women?
I'm home on leave today, for those many patsfanners whose hobby is tracking my own personal posting habits. I may weigh back in.
Here's a hint, for State: We need to contain the growth of deficits and expand revenue, and we need to preserve progressivity in our tax rates.
Ryan's plan is idiotic, and his crowds see right through him. Your boys need to get a grip on where we are and stop with the war on the disadvantaged and the elderly.
No, a 85-year old on 24/7 oxygen is not a good candidate for affordable private insurance.... even if you give him a coupon.
Ryan's not budgeting, he's cost-shifting to the elderly and the poor, and telling them "you shouldn't get sicker than the coupon says."
