I've never thought to check, but it seems to me that both sides do their fair share of demonizing "the other" in this forum. And given the repeated threads and other posts from "harry" that demonize only people of certain dempgraphics, I think you're giving him far too much credit here.
and btw, the last part wasn't restricted solely to harry or to this board. I've started seeing and hearing a lot of this over the last year or so -- people complaining that they're unfairly labeled racist, bigoted, etc., when the reason most of them are being maligned as such is for expressing views that are, in fact, racist, bigoted, etc.
It was from a post in this forum today...and you're right it comes from both sides and I think its much of the time just a "one upsmanship" kind of a a thing

I gotta say harry that in the almost five years that ive been reading your rants (and you know i like a good HB rant) they are Always about minoritities when it comes to violence. I can't ever remember you starting a thread about violent White folks.
I wrote about this in one of the racism threads here. The African-American kids on my sons soccer team tell me about it. Not picking sides - i just listen and try to teach them everyone needs to get along ... but it's ugly and i can't help but wonder how much the rap-media-gang industry filling the void of the parents plays into it. Everything with these kids is my niggas ... and that's more family to them than their real family sometimes. I don't have any solutions - just adding my 2 cents.

Another influence is the video gaming industry, any younger child in a family has access to an older child's video gaming cache.. games like, "Grand Theft Auto", "Street Fighter", "Tour of Duty" etc. contribute to the overal desensitization towards violence and death in general. Life imitates art..
When that industry using terms such as "massacre fatigue"... it does not bode well for society in general.
This is not Tipper Gore stuff, just irresponsible behavior of these corporations..
