You've got to love The Donald. His candor is both refreshing, and the reason why he'll prove himself to be a poor candidate for the job. Still though, I do like that he says whatever is on his mind.
Does anyone else think Merideth Viera looks somewhat annoyed by The Donald?
"I love this country, but this country is going to hell," he says. "I would run a great, great country. This country will be great again. It is not great right now. We have huge deficits, we have huge unemployment, we have huge problems. And we're not respected. We're not respected in the world. The world laughs at us. They won't be laughing if I'm president."

Do not know his penchant for eastern european wives will resonate with the extreeeme christian faction of the right...
He has certainly garnered a lot of face time right now, between the Golf Channel, Fox, Celebrity Apprentice and now this... is it about running for prez or is it about branding of the Trump name???
Would have to guess the latter..

On here, my friend, we would disagree it seems. I don't love him, though I will admit he's got a certain amount of candor sometimes. But to be honest, I think he's doing a lot of stuff now specifically to get political clout (e.g., the birther nonsense). I would never vote for him, and the pubs are dumb if they even consider putting him up.

I use the term "love" a little tongue in cheek.
I don't know what his true intentions are. Maybe he's serious, or maybe he's simply using the opportunity for the spotlight that comes with it. Heck, he could be doing it because he wants to say the things the more "professional" politicians can't or won't. Who knows, he's The Donald.

He's saying things the Liberal Obama Slobberers don't want to hear but the whole world knows he's right on the birther stuff, Obama could make Trump look like a fool by JUST SHOWING THE GOD DAMN BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
WHAT IS OBAMA TRYING TO KEEP HIDDEN IT'S OBVIOUS THERE IS SOMETHING HE DOESNT WANT THE PEOPLE TO SEE, WE WILL KNOW SOMEDAY, SOONER OR LATER SOMEBODY WILL HAVE THE COURAGE TO LET IT OUT.

Showman that he is, Donald immediately realized what he'd stumbled on - and spent the next week ratcheting up his birther rhetoric.
Besides ego, there's an obvious reason why Trump would be so hungry for publicity now: His long-running reality show entered its 11th season last month facing something of a ratings crisis.
Once upon a time, "The Apprentice" was an innovative show - and a bona fide Nielsen sensation. During its first season in 2004, it attracted an average of more than 20 million viewers per week. By last fall, the 10th season, that number had fallen to around 5 million. There was doubt the show would even be back on NBC this spring and it returned only under the gimmicky celebrity contestant format that had been used in several previous seasons. Of course, the term "celebrity" is a relative one for a show that relies on the likes of Jose Canseco and La Toya Jackson for its star power.

No need to waste the 5 seconds it took to find that. We all know Trump is a clown who bankrupted a Casino. How is that possible?
