Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Muslims have much more religious freedom in the U.S. than any Christian or Jew in a Muslim nation. There are mosques all over this country. Any churches in Saudi Arabia?

You are saying that advocating religious freedom is hypocritical because there are anti-Muslim elements in America (let's not get into that again). Is our government anti-Muslim as a matter of law? That is the difference.

Once again, you're trying to start an argument where there isn't one.

I'm not comparing levels of religious freedom.

"Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good"? What kind of bs is that. Sorry -- I'd like this to be an even better country than it already is. Unlike you and so many others on the right, it seems, I'm not comfortable using middle eastern nations up as my basis for comparison. I'm going to stick with our own principles.

No, I'm not.

A difference I'm fully aware of -- and also one that is irrelevant to anything I've said

That's what I was saying in the first place. That we should be promoting our own principles, not just "majority rule".
