President Barack Obama, as an Illinois state senator in 2002, said that using military force to topple a murderous dictator amounted to a “dumb war” and should be opposed.
Do I post this to attack Obama ... maybe a bit.

Do I post this to prove our President is a puppet ... absolutely.

Is Obama the only puppet in our lifetime ... absolutely not ... they all were.

I forgot the face ... he will be known as the face President ... better than the head bumping Ford Presidency.

Obama authorized the CIA to be on the ground in Libya weeks ago.

Meet the new guy ... same as the old guy ... and the crickets keep on chirping.

While President Obama has insisted that no American military ground troops participate in the Libyan campaign, small groups of C.I.A. operatives have been working in Libya for several weeks as part of a shadow force of Westerners that the Obama administration hopes can help bleed Colonel Qaddafi’s military, the officials said.

This is what I had assumed to be the case -- and frankly, regardless of your political party, views, ideology, etc., isn't that what most of us want to be the case?

Let's take a vote. Who does not want the CIA to venture into other countries and do their thing? What happened to the good old days when getting a haircut on the runway was outrageous?

When Libya happened the first thing that came to mind was there were special forces on the groung along with the CIA.. if there was a plane mishap they needed to direct the rescue.. they also need to provide feedback to the pilots/ships, re targets and movement on the ground.

When this type of thing happens this is the way we do things...

Remember the surprise when we invaded Iraq and there were reports of advance units.. to many of us it was not a surprise, it is the way our military operates..

Don't do this type of stuff and this will not happen.

what Darryl said ..... absolutely.

Seems we do this in countries we can bully ... don't see us doing this in North Korea.

The landscape and political geography have a lot to do with it too. Sparsely populated countries with thinly guarded frontiers make for great clandestine missions. North Korea will never be a candidate for that reason. Nor will Egypt (the large population of which is contained in a very small area), Iran, or Venezuela.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”
