Don't know anyone who chose to be disabled.

People with legitimate disabilities, deserve the help they get. Those getting SSI for Emotional or Anxiety problems need to get a job.

I didn't say it was; I was merely pointing out legal protections. In 32 states, you can be fired for being gay, but that's not true for the disabled. That said, the disabled have many other disadvantages in this (and most other) societies.

Except in the case of rape, no one can force anyone else to have sex. If two men (or two women) choose to have sex with each other, that's a decision EACH ONE must make and for which each must be responsible; and a tragic decision at that. To say that is anything like a "disability", like being paralyzed or born with a deformity, is just plain wrong, and such CHOSEN behavior deserves NO protection under the law. None whatsoever. In fact, it should be made ILLEGAL, as it has been viewed throughout history, most of the time in most cultures. And for good reason: sex is how life is propagated, and is thus sacred and holy.

I thought this constitution was about equal protection, not selective protection based on one's physical abilities.. not sure what you are getting at here, but it sounds like the master race stuff..

The constitution was design to protect the rights of individuals from being taken away by the government. If you recall the Declaration of Independence talks about the right to "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness", note the word pursuit in this phrase, not that the government was to guarantee any of these things.

What am I saying? I'm saying that life-style CHOICES, like same-sex relations, are not protected by the Constitution, never intended to be, and should never be.
