Default US Energy Policy...

Why be independent when you can outsource money and jobs for someone else's fuel.

Energy Policy: While leaving U.S. oil and jobs in the ground, our itinerant president tells a South American neighbor that we'll help it develop its offshore resources so we can one day import its oil. WHAT?!?

Quote:
"We want to help you with the technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely. And when you're ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers."

Well G Soros has a BIG investment in Petrobra the Brazilian Oil company. The Obama administration gave $20B to develop Petrobra's deep sea oil fields. The administration just granted permits for Petrobra to drill in the Gulf Of Mexico. The administration is denying permots to US Oil companies. G Soros donates a lot of money to certain politicans and political parties and funds certain political websites. The Administration promises Brazil we will buy lots of Oil from Petrobras. Lots of jobs for Brazilian workers. Bupkus for American workers.

Heck of a way to do business.

Follow the money. Connect the dots.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

Too freakin' funny. To think that some people still hold to the liberal lie's re: Cheney / Haliburton.

Cheney's severance package / retirement was settled before he took office. If Haliburton made an extra billion or two or three it wouldn't change the package. The same applies if they had lost their shirts.

Even his holiness the Obama agreed that, considering the limitation on contracts like that (set markup rates, etc.) Haliburton was the best choice - especially since when it went up for bid there were no takers.

"Unpossible" is a Ralph Wiggum classic. Great application here, 10 points for style.

Hi welcome, I believe Brandon's comment is tongue in cheek.

In the interest of fairness Soros sold his stock in Petrobras 6mths ago. For a tidy profit.

The point is that we haven't had an energy policy in my lifetime. Meanwhile we send billions and trillions to foreign lands for oil, without even looking to see if we have any of our own. It's absolutely mind boggling to say the least. This country is so arse backwards that our only hope is go bankrupt, and start over.

Heh, and yet people think it began when Cheney got to Washington.

I bet if some people brewed up some coffee and typed bridas unocal centgas into Google, they would get an eye-opener.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”
