Default 1 day late, but Hag Purim

Better late than never, but happy Jewish Saint Patrick's Day, as the Mrs. and I call it. I have yet one more reason to consider myself lapsed; I did not have time to drink myself into a stupor, as one is commanded to do on Purim.

If you don't know the holiday, it's one of the happy Jewish holidays, as defined by the following greatly simplified breakdown.

Happy Jewish Holidays:
1) They tried to kill us/and/or trashed our stuff
2) We won
3) Let's eat

Unhappy Jewish Holidays:
1) They tried to kill us/and/or trashed our stuff
2) We lost
3) Let's fast

Like I said, this is greatly simplified and does not account for very important ones about atonement and the new year. Then there are some about the other new year that applies only to trees, living in vegetation-covered booths, something called Shemini Atzeret, which I always have to look up... and of course Yom v'Martin Luther King, which is a somewhat newer addition, and not universally embraced

Hag Purim!

I'll have to remember not to give PFnV my address. If someone ate all the cream cheese, my wife would go crazy.

“On a day when they could have had impact players David Terrell or Koren Robinson..they took Georgia defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who had 1 sacks last season in the pass-happy SEC and is too tall to play tackle at 6-6 and too slow to play defensive end. This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

Had a friend buy me a bottle, it cracked me up.

And yet... it was just a beer. I mean, not a bad beer, but just a beer.

That's a good way of putting it.
