Default Real Numbers

Does anyone know how much money will be saved from the budget if the GOP succeeds in eliminating federal funding for NPR & Planned Parenthood?

Serious question as I haven't been able to find any "hard" numbers when it comes to these organizations.

I don't know. But a consequence of eliminating Planned Parenthood will be more abortions. That is a logical assumption and raises more questions.

I agree. It seems to me that most Republicans think that all Planned Parenthood does is abortions. That can't be further from the truth.

It's 92% of their "business".

Do you have links for your stats? Especially the claim that 92% of women who go to Planned Parenthood get an abortion.

OTOH you could try google and show stats that abortion isn't 93% of their business.

Why should I do that when I asked the person who posted the stat to provide the source?

BTW: According to the poster it is 92%, not 93%, of their business.

$831 million which is 1/5 of the US taxpayer's annual subsidy outlay to Oil Companies who are making record profits.

Some people are in the backyard searching for 4 leaf clovers while opportunity is knocking at the front door.

Thank you.

If you don't mind I would like to point out to PatsFanInEaglesLand and patsfan13 that 3% of Planned Parenthood's "business" consists of performing abortions.

I don't know about you but isn't 3% a little bit different than 92% (or 93% according to patsfan13)?
