It's beyond me why he isn't jumping on the unwed pregnant mother bandwagon.

All he needs is for the economy to improve -- if it does, he wins.

If it stays where it is, there's still the huge question of who his opponent turns out to be. Huckabee, Gingrich, Palin, Bachman, Pawlenty -- none of them beats Obama if things are essentially the same as they are today. (Romney? Possibly.)

I think I saw some polls saying that Huckabee ran strong against him (albeit a few months ago), but the rest? Yeah, no chance.

“On a day when they could have had impact players David Terrell or Koren Robinson..they took Georgia defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who had 1 sacks last season in the pass-happy SEC and is too tall to play tackle at 6-6 and too slow to play defensive end. This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

Frankly, he's a bore. Maybe that's who Americans will vote for, but let's remember that our boring Presidents -- be it Carter, Ford, or Bush --did not fare well. I keep hoping we'll see an Obama who leads and fights and makes a passionate and fact-based case for liberalism, but instead he seems to be, as they say, no drama Obama.

- He didn't take a bold stand on Wisconsin. -
He shouldn't unions are not policy.

- He's not speaking out forcefully about what's wrong with the Tea Party.
You really got to be kidding here.
All political groups should be welcome and let their divergent ideas represent us.

- He's not making a case for fixing our deficit by raising taxes on the wealthy.
Is it our set in stone policy ... more taxes on wealthy = less investment.

- He's not arguing that budget cuts will lead to job losses.
Well I guess we need to speed up the printing presses and up the deficit.

- He's not taking a strong stand on transparency.
He's been exposed as a huge liar on this one.

- He's not even taking a strong stand on Libya.
He said what he needs to say ... should we invade everyone?

- He's not even taking a tough stand on oil companies as the price of gas and heating oil skyrockets.
controlling the markets is bad and dangerous ... remember the Carter freezes?

- He's not even taking a bold stand on Wall Street, where bonuses are back to pre-recession levels.
You guys have a real problem with capitalism and free markets.
It is no different paying Tom Brady and Alex Gonzalez and Kevin Garnett. Being the best at something brings a price. when you do not pay the talent moves on to other countries and that would hurt us.

- He doesn't really seem to be standing up for anyone, just trying not to make too many waves.
Who should he stand up for ... except for Biden ... poor guy is buried.

Whether you will support Obama or not, do you think he's adopting a smart political strategy?
It's an efficient and economical policy.
When we insert ourselves it always costs us $$$ ... those days are over.

Huckabee's religious comments will kill him in a general election. (and they'd help w/some Repubs in the primary, but alienate those who care about the Constitution -- but I think the incident with that cop-killer in Washington who was paroled from Arkansas will be a big liability in the primary, fair or not)
