I played HS football for some psycho's as well. Funny thing is, there was something strangely rewarding about going through all that crap!

Very rewarding. That coach was the type you totally hate, but completely respect. It's the type of experience where you realize later on how good it was, and what it truly taught you. When I watch A Few Good Men, and Col. Jessup (sp?) is on the stand and says "you need me on that wall" rant, it reminds me of my old coach. A total bad ass.

Something else RW...every now and then, I STILL have dreams of playing football. Not playing in games, but hitting the sled and doing drills. I swear I can smell the cut grass while having these dreams. Lastly, and the wierdest part is, in these dreams, I'm my current age, not 16 or 17. And I'm ready to kick some as*! I'm dead serious too!

I wouldn't last 1 hour...but it's nice to dream!
