Seeing as how they removed the collective bargining and the auto deduct of union dues from state paychecks from the budget bill in order to pass it with only 19 members present I think it's safe to assume it has absolutely nothing to do with the budget deficit.

The Senate requires a quorum of 20 to take up any measures that spends money. But a special committee of lawmakers from both the Senate and Assembly voted late Wednesday afternoon to take all the spending measures out of the legislation and the Senate approved it minutes later 18-1.

So this moonbat, who just lost the Senate race by 5+ points, is going to win in a recall election???

Did you run into Mr. Rourke or Tattoo, while you were on Fantasy Island?

Wisconsin Passes Anti-Collective Bargaining Bill
Based on the information in the above link there are a couple of figures that I can't say are true or false.

1). In the AP article it states that the budget shortfall was $137 million and that is why Walker went after the unions so that he could balance the budget.

2). In Walkers op-ed piece in the WSJ he states that Wisconsin has a deficit of $3.6 billion and $1.7 billion will be saved with his "budget-repair bill".

Quote:
In Wisconsin, we have a better approach to tackling our $3.6 billion deficit. We are reforming the way government works, as well as balancing our budget. Our reform plan gives state and local governments the tools to balance the budget through reasonable benefit contributions. In total, our budget-repair bill saves local governments almost $1.5 billion, outweighing the reductions in state aid in our budget.
What the heck does that mean? The tools?

Walker is polling at 39%

in two months he has almost lost 15 points.

I'm not so sure I'm the "moonbat" on "Fantasy Island", kid.

(Note: the 39% polling number was from Feb 22, I'm sure its going down like Monica Lewinski)

I detest the term "moonbat." I know Howie Carr uses it a million times a day on his radio show and throws at least 5 references in to his awful column in the Herald.

Did Howie come up with the term? All I know is that it makes no sense. What is a moonbat?

Back on topic: Does anyone know the $$ in Wisconsin? Did Walker cut taxes for employers?

Thats why you have per diem people you can call if you need an extra body. They don't get bene's nor do they get over time.

Lowest I could find his Approval (non-moveon.org) was 44%, That's not going to get you recalled.
