He adds that "tea party people" aren't "just Islamophobic, but really xenophobic, I mean basically they are, they believe in sort of white, middle-America gun-toting. I mean, it's scary. They're seriously racist, racist people."
He goes on to say that NPR "would be better off in the long run without federal funding."

I guess maybe my question and your answer was a bit rhetorical. I wish the answers weren't truly yes and I wish we all would take a step back once and a while and examine ourselves.

This country has become a circus. We value technology, fat slobs losing weight on TV...and people crying over getting a chance to be on American Idol.
We now look at politics as "either you're with us or against us" and we stand behind party lines as if we KNOW our side it right. I don't think most Americans even have the ability or desire to know what's really going on. So we sit and sling sh1t day after day hoping something will get done. That somebody or someone will "FIX" all that is wrong.
We're so negative, we don't even see that there's still a lot of good things happening and opportunities abound. I think some of us believe it was all taken away...WTF??
It's sad to watch...REALLY sad.

You all know that this was orchestrated by O'Keefe... who dressed as a muslim.. Breitbart did not even want anything to do with this...
I agree that NPR should no longer be funded, and break free from the shackles that the Republicans want to place on them.. they will survive and ultimately be stronger.
