All Oil is sold on a Global Market.

You put a barrel of Oil up for sale, and anyone can buy it. We don't sell it selectively and only buy cheap oil...

All oil from everywhere is the same price.

I read up on these fields a couple of years ago, the reason they aren't being tapped is because the tecnology doesn't exist yet to make it profitable. The oil is deamed unrecoverable at this time to make it worth while.

DRILL BABY DRILL. Lets be less dependent on foreign oil and lets bring gas from 5.00/gal to $1/gal!!!!!
I'm mad at you!

Seriously. I was about to start a thread with a virtually identical message, albeit phrased somewhat less diplomatically. You stole my thunder!

The reason America is not tapping our own oil resources is because the liberals won't let us, period, end of dicussion.

5 years ago, all the gas prices were the direct fault of Bush, Cheney, Halliburton, etc, etc.

Today? Well today the moonbats are awfully quiet on the matter.

When all else fails, post some vague, unquantifiable, unfalsifiable partisan crap and pretend you've scored some point.

No one is quiet regarding high gas prices. I don't believe anyone blamed Bush for high gas prices, as much as they blamed him for talking out his ass about our need to get off our addiction, while doing NOTHING towards doing so.
