Right, so the Secretary of State is primarily concerned with domestic matters? Why did she comment on the planned Koran burning at all?
Or pandering to those who are enamored of the multi-culti fad.
Dude, seriously? A pastor in the United States will have the spotlight on him with many nations observing, because of his heinous act of burning the koran, and you don't think the Secretary of State should comment on it?

Seriously? Burning a book is a "heinous" act? It's not a very long trip from multi-cultural sensitivity to Sharia, is it? Under what U.S. law is that not allowed?
I was questioning the idea that the Secretary of State would only comment on something inside the U.S.

Yes, its in the timing, and PRACTICE. Its not as hard as you think.
As for the pirates the Navy should have thrown them over board with their hands tied. See if they can swim to Somalia, who ever made it would be innocent. Allah would help them make it, If they were innocent.

That's too good for them. I say airdrop them in the middle of a desert naked.

I'm serious, their not afraid because they think they'll just end up in federal prison which is probably a better life for most of them. Fear needs to be struck, a message has to be sent. Besides the waters are probably shark infested.
It's better to kill them on the spot, if they go to court they will just be sent to prison where they will do their time lifting weights playing basketball and copulating with each other in the shower.

Right, so the Secretary of State is primarily concerned with domestic matters? ...
Is that what I said?

I don't know -- what was the context of her remarks?
Regardless, Clinton is a national pol. She's going to comment on anything she feels like, I would guess, and when it's a domestic matter, she doesn't have to be concerned with how foreign nations may interpret her comments.

That was a joke (note the smiley guy?), but "multi-culti fad"? really?
Maybe somebody should start burning bibles here in the US. I bet that would fly...

The comparison doesn't make sense, since one took place in the US and the others did not.

I don't think she was worried about how the Koran burning was going to be perceived in Dearborn. It's pretty clear she was worried about the reaction in the wider world (specifically the Muslim world).

You serve, I volley. What's the complaint? Sheesh.

They probably would be charged with a crime and set off a firestorm of international controversy and worldwide riots leading to actual deaths....or, maybe not.
