Re: Force Kids To Eat Crap
Yeah, the food in my school was pretty nasty stuff. Even if you only ate half of it, you felt full and bloated all day (and I was a 6'4" D-lineman on the football team). Healthy alternatives are a good step, but I'm not sure I'd have full confidence that it would actually taste all that good.
Shirtsleeve is right though. The processed is chock full of sodium, which is fine if you're running 15 miles a day and drinking a few gallons of water. Somehow, I don't think that describes the average activity of students.

“On a day when they could have had impact players David Terrell or Koren Robinson..they took Georgia defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who had 1 sacks last season in the pass-happy SEC and is too tall to play tackle at 6-6 and too slow to play defensive end. This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”
