The Middle East is on fire again, and crazy Muslims with funny names aren't helping things -- Mahmoud, ElBaradei, al-Banna, Barack ...

The major new development is that NOW liberals want to get rid of a dictator in the Middle East! Where were they when we were taking out the guy with the rape rooms?

Remember? The one who had gassed his own people, invaded his neighbors and was desperately seeking weapons of mass destruction? The guy who emerged from a spider hole looking like Charlie Sheen after a three-day bender?

Liberals couldn't have been less interested in removing Saddam Hussein and building a democracy in Iraq. So it's really adorable seeing them get all choked up about democracy now. Say, as long as liberals are all gung-ho about getting rid of out-of-touch, overbearing dictators, how about we start with Janet Napolitano?

She's got a point on (Loons & Dictators) they love this stuff in Egypt the rioters got rid of Egypts dictator, now how about Castro, Chavez and all those other bastards, we were lied to about WMD's but the killer Saddam and his demented sons aren't around anymore to sodimize little children or gas human beings, thats the good part that came out of the Iraqi disaster, liberals hated Egypt's dictator what did they think of The Saddam family?

Yeah, she's got great points re libruls and democracy, harry. Clearly if you don't want to spend hundreds of billions of dollars and destroy tens of thousands of lives in intervening in anotehr nation's affairs, you don't care about democracy and actually support those in power.

She -- and you -- conveniently avoid the facts that (i) many true conservatives don't want us playing world cop, either, (ii) the idea that we were trying to build democracy was only one alleged reason we were in Iraq, as Bush et al continued to try to justify it, and (iii) conservatives / Republicans, like Dem admins, have repeatedly propped up dictators around the globe during the past century, so the pubbies' attempts to stake out a claim on Democracy fall flat yet again, as they alawys do when they start invoking these nonsensical boasts about believing in patriotism or democracy or whatever the flavor of the day is on the right.
