Its not because there are more conservative listeners, its becauyse those conservative stations are willing to continue to operate at a loss...to spread the message.

Now ... tons of money will be spent trying to keep the money cut from being spent to being spent again. Look - only our most courageous politicians are going to take us down the road we have to travel on. Rest assured mistakes will be made and the constant cut money or raise taxes theme will reverberate loudly.

So ... I'll just say this. I remember back in the 90's sometime Rhode Island was one of the states that made big cuts in welfare. There was yelling and screaming and in the end the truly needy still got it and the loafers moved to another state where they could still get it. Rhode island dropped the ball on that but that's another story. Most states cut their cases down 60% and Rhode Island was somewhere in the 35% range.

But nobody died, nobody froze, nobody starved. Humans ... the relatively healthy ones adapt to their surroundings and we all will have to do this over the next 20 years. As long as the compassion remains for the sick, the weak, the old, and the handicapped we'll get through it. Let's hope Obama does what is best for all rather than what is best for special interests ... i think he will - he's all we have right now and he's far better than any candidate yet to run.

That never happens with liberal outlets. Just look at PBS and NPR, which are self-sufficient...oh, wait.

Liberals Mobilize to Save PBS, NPR Funding

Glenn Beck lost 40% of his audience since last year.. and he still continues.

It is about the message.. and the funding of such.

MSNBC lost all of their audience and they're still going strong spewing their Obama Bull***** and Trashing Sarah Palin (Matthews still gets an erection when he mentions Jug Ears)

I've stayed outta this kind of pizzing match in the past, but these kind of stats are misleading and can be read any way one wants. All viewership was down last year for cable news outlets, or any news outlets. The only valid stat here is marketshare. If there are a hundred apples and you have fifty, you have a fifty percent market share. Next year the weather is bad and there are only fifty apples. You have twenty five. You have lost twenty five apples. Yet you still hold a fifty percent market share.

Last year Fox News was the fourth leading cable outlet of any sort, and absolutely crushed all news outlet competition. But total viewership was down.

It was an awesome summer. People were out living their lives, not indoors watching tv.

Could be because he's up against Judge Judy and Judge Joe in his time slot.
Up to me beck comes in 3rd to these 2 ... Judge Joe gets #1 from me.

They are at least entertaining and sometimes you learn something.
Beck is an azzhat and i've never learned a single thing from the blowhard.
