Mubarak stood down when the Egyptian people stood up.

The military are now in charge. How will they transition to new rule? Will the military rule until there are new elections? Will they draft a new constitution? Will there be civil order during the transition, or will the many factions begin to fight?

It's a good thing to get rid of dictators and the people have won here but something I read this morning makes this all a little scary, the Little Iranian Creep, Armididdyjazian or whatever his name is supports the rioters.....

If this littel bastard supports the takeover Israel is in big trouble, Anti Semitism all over the Middle East and also in America's Left Wing White House.

News:
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iran's president said Friday that Egypt's popular uprising shows a new Islamic Middle East is emerging, one that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claims will have no signs of Israel and U.S. "interference."

He should have been thrown out first. What a blown opportunity. Not sure why we didn't support the protesters trying to get rid of a theocracy in Iran but backed them in Egypt when getting rid of a secular dictator.

It's sort of over.

Suleiman (whatever people think of him) is still there, and there is no guarantee that we've seen the end of the "Free Officer Republic". Given that Mubarak was considering stepping down this year already, this move could just signal that his timetables have changed, and that the NDP may still be ruling Egypt at the end of the day. However, the effects of the people's protests have gone farther, faster than I think anyone really expected. If this is the end of the NDP, we still have no idea what is coming next. This story is still developing, in my opinion.

“On a day when they could have had impact players David Terrell or Koren Robinson..they took Georgia defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who had 1 sacks last season in the pass-happy SEC and is too tall to play tackle at 6-6 and too slow to play defensive end. This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

Ha!
Your post sounds like the exact position and tone that FOX is taking right now. They keep dragging out the former ambassador of Israel and other neocon right wingers with British accents crying horror and some clown just declared that this overthrow of a brutal and fascist dictator is "the beginning of the collapse of the American Middle East" and that Obama has failed to orchestrate a slow transition and that we are "impotent in the Middle East" and that we have "lost Turkey". Now the clown is decrying the female genital mutilation rate as 90% in Egypt and that women have no rights...as if the situation was different in December of 2010. What morons!

Poor despotic kings and dictators. Can't find no love from Obama.

LMFAO!
