Default WOW! I guess Beck was right.

Among other notable sources, even the New York Times front page story supports Beck's statements:

Here are a few quotes from the article:

Quote:
In the process many have formed some unusual bonds that reflect the singularly nonideological character of the Egyptian youth revolt, which encompasses liberals, socialists and members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Quote:
Many in the circle, in fact, met during their university days. Islam Lotfi, a lawyer who is a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Youth, said his group used to enlist others from the tiny leftist parties to stand with them in calling for civil liberties, to make their cause seem more universal. Many are now allies in the revolt, including Zyad el-Elaimy, a 30-year-old lawyer who was then the leader of a communist group.
Quote:
By the time they occupied Tahrir Square, she and her friends had enlisted the Arab Doctors Union — many of whose members are also members of the Muslim Brotherhood — which set up a network of seven clinics.
Gee, yes, I guess Glenn Beck was right after all.

This whole thing feels like Iran 1979 all over again, with the same inadequate leadership in Washington.

If you say enough crap, eventually he will hit on something....Its also not schocking that some political movements in our own country start with tactics of the bait and switch like they claim the Muslim Brotherhood is doing.

'scuse me, I hear the tea pot .....

Didn't Glenny Beck also that Janet Napaletano met secretly in the muslim brotherhood....?

I can't find that in this article....

Did Beck say this was 1979 Iran all over again? I honestly don't know, because I don't pay attention to him.

If his point is that people of differing backgrounds and political persuasions are coming together to overthrow a tyrant, that's not exactly news. It's a characteristic of populist revolution throughout history. If he's saying that the government response to this and 1979 Iran are similar, he's woefully misinforming everyone and perhaps even deceiving himself. Obama's handling of this situation probably has as reasonable a tone as possible, given the forces at work in Egypt, and our own ineptitude in the years leading up to this. Carter's handling of Iran was abysmal, but putting Obama's response in that category is wholly inaccurate and the product of poor or lazy analysis.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

This article also does not mention the fact that the Bush Men (Sr. and Jr.) are in on the plot (along with all the "lefties") since they are the ones who conspired with The Muslim Brotherhood to protect Babyon so that the Caliphate has it's proper seat of power.

Guess they forgot.

I read somewhere that his ratings were dropping and there was speculation that Fox may let him walk as he's been a bit too out of the box. Plus I think they want to distance The Sarah from him a bit. Personally I think he's a shill but it's fascinating to see how entrenched corporate media is with our govt, and how influential they are as well.
One thing Beck got right was exposing the role of Valerie Jarrett.

the worst thing that happened to Beck was the GOP Congress - Obama will meet them halfway at times and that is bad for Beck's schtick.

It'll be interesting to see if Fox does anything as some claim they might. If they do I'd find that disturbing really. Lou Dobbs met a similar fate not so long ago Even Keith Olberman, as bad as he could be they can him but isn't Tingly Legs is still around somewhere? Chris Matthews He's epic really. LOL
